How to read the chart

Each paper shows four typical sizes. Sheets read width by height in inches; rolls read width in inches by length in feet; liners are named by the pan they fit.

The first size is usually the smallest and the last the largest. The usual pick is the one most buyers of that paper choose, not a rule; a double burger needs more than a slider.

Sizes are typical, not limits. Anything between or beyond is a custom cut. The sheet sizes by food guide matches each size to an item.

Measuring a sheet for a wrap or liner

For a wrap, measure the item across its widest point and allow about three times that for a full wrap with the ends tucked. A 4-inch sandwich sits well in a 12 × 12 in sheet.

For a basket liner, measure the inside of the basket at the top. Add enough to hang over by an inch or two on each side.

For a pan liner, measure the pan across the top and note the depth. For an odd shape, send a photo with a tape in it.

If you have a sheet you like, measure it flat, edge to edge, and send both numbers to the nearest quarter inch.

Custom sizes and rolls

Any size not on the chart is cut to order and quoted the same way. Write the exact width and height in the notes on the quote form, and say whether it must be exact.

Rolls are quoted by width and length. Standard widths are 12, 15, 18 and 24 inches; other widths are slit to order. Work out the length you need from the pull per item.

Pre-formed liners and bags come in the sizes shown; other shapes are quoted as flat sheets. Every paper and its sizes sit on the all papers page.

10 questions

Are the chart sizes in inches?

Yes, every sheet size is width by height in inches, and rolls are width in inches by length in feet.

Which number is the width on a roll?

The first one. A 15 in × 700 ft roll is 15 inches across the core and 700 feet long.

How do I measure a sheet I already use?

Lay it flat and measure the two edges with a tape. Round to the nearest quarter inch and tell us both numbers.

Does the chart show every size you cut?

No, it shows the four typical sizes per paper. Any other size is a custom cut, quoted the same way.

Is there a size tolerance on cut sheets?

Yes, a small cutting tolerance applies, as with any paper. Tell us if a dimension must be exact, for instance a liner that drops into a pan.

How much bigger than the food should a wrap be?

Roughly three times the width of the item for a full wrap with a fold under.

Can I order a size between two chart sizes?

Yes, as a custom cut. Write the exact dimensions in the notes on the written quote request form.

Do loaf liner sizes refer to the pan or the paper?

The pan. A 9 × 5 in liner is pre-formed to fit a 9 × 5 in loaf pan, with walls that stand up the sides.

What roll length do I need?

Divide the length by the pull you use per item. A 700 ft roll at a 12-inch pull gives about 700 wraps.

Can I get a sample cut in my size before ordering?

Ask on the quote. We tell you what can be sent for the paper you are comparing.
