Terms of sale

The conditions that apply when you order custom printed paper from us, from quote to delivery.

Quotes and acceptance

Every job is quoted in writing. A quote describes the paper, weight, size, ink colors, quantity, delivery and price, and holds until the date printed on it.

You accept a quote by replying to it or confirming on the form. Your acceptance forms the order under these terms; nothing else on the site is an offer to sell.

If the specification changes after acceptance, we reissue the quote and the new one applies.

Proofs and approval

After acceptance we send a free design proof as a PDF. Edits are unlimited, and nothing prints until you approve the proof in writing.

The approved proof is the agreed artwork. Errors on it, including spelling, numbers, color names and position, are your responsibility and are printed as shown.

Screen colors differ from ink. Pantone numbers on the proof are the reference, not the screen.

Invoicing and payment

We invoice the job once you approve the proof. Payment is by invoice; the invoice shows the amount from the quote, any agreed change and the due date.

Production is scheduled against the invoice as set out on it. Late payment may delay dispatch.

Production and lead time

Production takes 4–6 business days after proof approval. The count is in business days, not calendar days, and starts once the proof is approved and the invoice is dealt with as agreed.

Printing runs over or under by a small margin, as with any press. We deliver the quoted quantity as closely as the run allows and tell you of any shortfall.

Delivery

Delivery is free and tracked to one US street address in 2–3 business days after dispatch. Dates are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees; a late delivery does not void the order.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Check the cartons on arrival; the shipping and lead times page explains packing and tracking.

Reprints and refunds within 10 days

Report a misprint, damage, short count or wrong paper within 10 days of delivery, with photos. We reprint the affected cases or refund them, after agreeing with you which suits.

Errors on an approved proof, color shift within trade tolerance and damage after delivery are not covered. The reprints and refunds page gives the steps.

Artwork rights and food-contact use

You keep all rights in your artwork. You confirm you have the right to use it. You grant us a license to print it for your order and to keep it on file for reorders.

The papers are sold for wrapping and lining food as described on their product pages, within the stated heat ranges. You are responsible for choosing the right paper for your food and your process.

Limits of liability and governing law

Our liability for any order is limited to a reprint or a refund of the invoiced amount for the affected paper. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profit or other indirect costs.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the contract is formed. If any clause is found invalid, the rest stand.

Your personal details are handled as set out in the site privacy policy.

10 questions

When do I pay for an order?

After you accept the quote and approve the proof, by invoice.

Is the quote a contract?

Not until you accept it. Your written acceptance, by email or on the form, forms the order under these terms.

Who is responsible for errors in approved artwork?

You are. Once a proof is approved, we print what it shows, so check it carefully before you sign off.

Can I cancel after approving the proof?

Only before the job is on press, and paper already cut or ink already mixed is charged.

Do you own my artwork once you print it?

No, you keep every right in your logo and artwork. You confirm you have the right to use it, and you give us a license to print it for your order.

What are you liable for if something goes wrong?

A reprint or a refund of the invoiced amount for the affected paper, as set out in the reprints and refunds policy.

Which law governs these terms?

The laws of the United States and the state in which the contract is formed.

Can the terms change after I order?

The version on the site at the date of your acceptance applies to your order.

Is food-contact use covered by the terms?

Yes. The paper is sold for wrapping and lining food as described on its product page.

Can I pay by card instead of invoice?

Payment is by invoice. The invoice lists the ways you can settle it.
